The Four Ball App (A Golf Tinder iOS)

Overview

The app is designed to make it easier for golfers to meet new playing partners and expand their golf network.
As it uses the user-friendly interface made famous by Tinder, Fourball is often referred to as ‘Tinder for Golf’.
Built for both Apple and the Android platforms, this native app that shows you active golfers in your proximity and allows you to connect, chat and plan events together.

Our engineers created the following core features:

The Problem

Team DigAptics take user experience very seriously. We always start with in-house focus groups, multiple prototypes, and online surveys to ensure the initial designs and functions are the right way forward.

Our client wanted a simple User Interface and User Experience, after much research we settled on the Tinder Swipe interface as a proven User Experience. One of the biggest challenges for golfers is finding playing partners of the same capability. Singles and Twosomes are often paired with people of varying capabilities.We solves this by allowing players to filter their search based on playing handicaps and providing peer reviews.

The Solution

One of the biggest value adds of this product is to remove barriers to entry for new players and introduce new golfers into the game. It feels so good to see your app on the App Store or the Play Store. But getting it live on these platforms could be a complex process.
